The Champion Companies continues rapid growth, hires 100th team member

Westerville, OH – The Champion Companies announces the achievement of a major milestone having hired its 100th team member since the company’s inception in 2010.

The Champion Companies, a full-service multi-family investment and management firm, is owned and operated by brother-sister duo, Brian Yeager and Michelle Yeager-Thornton. Back in 2010, when Champion opened its doors, it owned roughly 128 apartments and managed two communities with a team of seven. In just six years, the company has grown to own and manage nearly 5,000 apartments across 13 communities in Central Ohio and has grown its team to 100 members.

This company milestone comes on the tail of Champion’s fifth consecutive recognition to the Columbus Business First Fast 50 list, earning the No. 18 spot at this month’s award ceremony. “Our team members are the backbone of Champion. Without all of their hard work, we would not be where we are today,” Michelle Yeager-Thornton, Champion’s co-founder and COO said. “To hire our 100th team member is a truly rewarding feeling.”
