The Champion Companies Extends Fast 50 Streak to a Sixth Year

WESTERVILLE, OH – Achieving a high level of annual growth is a challenge for any company and even more difficult is maintaining that growth for years on end.  Even so, The Champion Companies, a full-service, multifamily investment and management firm, has found itself on Columbus Business First’s “Fast 50” list of Central Ohio’s fastest growing firms for the sixth consecutive year.

The list, which considers companies’ revenue growth over the previous three years and is verified by accounting firm GBQ Partners, includes privately held, for-profit firms in Central Ohio with average annual revenue of at least $1 million.

While no single factor has propelled The Champion Companies’ meteoric rise, its leaders are quick to point to the company’s people as the driving force behind its success.  “We can attribute our continued growth to our opportunistic attitude and the passion and commitment of our team members,” Brian Yeager, Champion’s president and CEO, said. “We are truly grateful and honored to be listed among some of Central Ohio’s finest companies.”

Likewise, Michelle Yeager-Thornton, Co-Founder and COO of Champion, emphasized that “our people are what propels us forward year after year.  We are where we are today as a company because of their hard work and dedication.”  This teamwork and commitment was undoubtedly a key ingredient in helping the firm grow from just over 100 apartments in 2010 to well over 4,000 across 12 Central Ohio communities today.

Champion will find out exactly where this growth places them on this year’s list at the Columbus Business First Fast 50 celebration luncheon on October 19.
