The Champion Companies Appoints Chief Investment Officer

WESTERVILLE, OH – The Champion Companies announced that Senior Vice President of Investments Brian Hoar will, effective immediately, assume the role of Chief Investment Officer, and will oversee the company’s acquisitions, dispositions, and equity investor relationships.

This promotion is a result of years of hard work and commitment, and marks the latest step in Brian’s journey through the company from his first role as a property manager. Brian, 29, joined Champion only seven years ago upon graduation from Indiana Wesleyan University. After gaining experiencing as a property manager, and a licensed real estate agent, he was promoted to Champion’s investment management division in 2015. Since then he has had a key role in all of the company’s transactions.

“Since his first day at Champion as a property manager, Brian has continued to grow and flourish. In every role and task he has taken on, his work ethic, determination and commitment to excellence have been unmatched,” said Champion President and CEO Brian Yeager.

Brian has been a driving force behind Champion’s growth and profitability, providing critical assistance in deal construction, negotiating contracts and managing capital relationships. So far in his career, he has helped Champion close more than $1 billion in multi-family transactions.

“I’m humbled and excited to take on this new opportunity,” said Brian Hoar. “With Champion’s ten year anniversary coming in March, I look forward to working alongside Brian Yeager, and the rest of our talented team as we move into the next decade of our company’s history.”

Brian currently sits on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio. He is also an active member of the Columbus Board of Realtors, Ohio Board of Realtors, and National Association of Realtors.
