“The journey to Boys and Girls Club of Central Ohio’s new Milo-Grogan headquarters and clubhouse began with a charity basketball game more than two years ago.

It was May 11, 2018. And The Champion Cos., led by President and CEO Brian Yeager, was playing against Crawford Hoying at the old Boys and Girls Club.

The scene inside the club – old bleachers, bent basketball rims, and other finishes showing their age and wear-and-tear – surprised Yeager.

“It opened my eyes to the needs our community still has,” Yeager said. “This was my first true experience at the Boys and Girls Clubs. We’ve had a lot of success, a lot of good fortune. With that comes responsibility.”‘
