Columbus Business First – Champion Companies buys Gahanna apartment complex for $30M, with plans for $5M in renovations
Published in Columbus Business First:
“Westerville-based Champion Companies spent $30 million to purchase the Cameron Ridge Apartments complex in Gahanna.
The firm bought the 208-unit community, located at 1350 Underwood Farms Blvd., from 13 separate owners. Champion calls the process “unfracturing.”
“We negotiate deals with each ownership group and try to have one simultaneous closing,” Champion President Brian Yeager told Columbus Business First.
The firm plans to spend an additional $5 million renovating and upgrading the property, Yeager said.
