The Importance of an Employee Recognition Program

We are proud of the outstanding team that we have built in our five years in business. And we like to recognize when one, or a group of our team members goes above and beyond. That’s why we have created our employee recognition program that, among other awards, recognizes both a Property Manager of the Quarter, and a Community of the Quarter.

Criteria must be met to qualify for Property Manager of the Quarter, and it includes:

1. Meeting a leasing goal.
2. Achieving the highest conversion rate of prospective residents to new move-ins.
3. Strong demonstration of our four core principles: Community, Service, Value, and Passion.
4. Staying current and scoring a passing grade on Champion University continued learning classes.
5. Receiving nominations from other team members.
6. Receiving great feedback from residents.

These criteria not only contribute to the success of our business, but also to our team members themselves. We believe that in order for our team members to be successful, they should be challenged, constantly learning, demonstrative of our company core principles, and respected by their team. Luckily for us, these are the kinds of qualities that many of our outstanding team members already display.

The Community of the Quarter also must meet certain criteria related to overall performance from leasing, to collecting balance dues, to having current residents renew their leases.

The community with the highest combined performance in these categories gets awarded Community of the Quarter and gets to display a special silver Champion flag with pride each day at the property until the next Community of the Quarter is determined.

And with that, congratulations to Aaron Rumpf, our first Property Manager of the Quarter, and to Troy Farms, our first Community of the Quarter. We look forward to honoring our standout team members throughout the rest of 2015.
