“The Champion Cos. is cementing its presence in Westerville by buying its headquarters building.

The apartment developer on Friday purchased the 110,000-square-foot 380 Polaris Pkwy. building at Westar and Polaris Fashion Place, home to its headquarters since 2016, cementing its presence in Westerville for the long haul. Developer Daimler Group sold the building for $15.75 million.

Champion founders Brian Yeager and Michelle Yeager-Thornton grew up in Westerville. They said they wanted to be close to their hometown, which is also close to many of the developer’s 5,000 apartments in the Columbus market.”
