Partner Rockford Construction will begin construction on the Class A apartment community in Sunbury, Ohio next month

SUNBURY, Ohio (May 11, 2023) – The Champion Companies, a multi-family investment, development and management firm in Central Ohio, today announced it will begin construction of The District at Berkshire in June of this year.

The 300-unit Class A development is next to the Tanger Outlet Mall in Sunbury and is anticipated to take about 24 months to complete. The project will include the construction of a new public road off of S. Wilson Rd., calling for future development in the area by opening access to other land zoned for the development of all asset classes.

“The District at Berkshire will sit in a major growth corridor in Central Ohio, an area that needs new housing units to meet the influx of demand and expand options for future renters,” said Brian Yeager, President and CEO of The Champion Companies.
